Function overloading

D-0005, settled by the language’s author: part of spec §18. Older text cites it as 18.5.

Deferred, not rejected. Default arguments (§7.2) cover most of it, and constructors already overload. Nothing in this spec precludes adding it in a later version; the resolution machinery has to exist anyway for imported C++ overload sets (§15.3). The one exception is a trait implemented at several arguments (18.27)
